Mad Lib - The Piano

Three adjectives:  large, round, smoky
Three objects:  Mary’s upright piano; John Grisham’s book; Kolin’s brown football
Three abstractions:  happiness; justice; hope

Large Mary’s Upright Piano Beyond Happiness
I once dedicated my whole being to the piano, it was upright, and I played it beyond and into the night.  If I could I would have taken Mary’s piano everywhere I went I could have been happy playing whenever I want.  However, when I wanted to practice from the “John Thompson’s” piano book for beginners my brother James  found happiness watching the football games on our 16 inch black and white TV.  The piano stood upright with about eighty or so black and white keys.  This was a large item which took up very little space in our large living room.

This piano was bought from a man named Big Joe.  He was beyond big and had this piano in his juke joint where he sold whiskey, beer, and home brew.  Mary’s piano came from a place where people partied all day and sometimes into the night.  This life was pure happiness for all the patrons who visited Big Joe’s.

My mama bought this large upright piano for about fifty-dollars.  This piano was beyond my wildest dreams because when my mama and four men lifted the piano into our living room my eyes lit up larger than a silver dollar.  Beyond what anyone would expect from a child who had never had a piano this large item brought tears to my eyes.  As the men drove up in the truck all I could see was one Large piano.
